Minnesota Strike

Yesterday the Premier Ultimate League announced that my wife’s (Änna) team was officially in the league for the 2020 season.

This came after months of work, mostly being done by Änna, but also included a new brand and website that I had the pleasure of developing.

The launch was particularly gratifying on a personal level: both because it was something we got to work on so closely together; and also because of the opportunity that this team is going to bring our community. (“Pro” Ultimate is relatively new, but had only been available to men until last year.)

But/also on a professional level, I’ve never quite had the experience of a launch that was so immediately and obviously successful.

  • We had thousands of views on the site and through social media in the first hours.
  • We shot to the top of any related Google searches (going from something that didn’t exist/had no relevant search results).
  • And we started raising actual, honest-to-goodness money.

It was really fun. 😊

I can’t wait to see where this team goes! And I’m glad that I’m along for the ride.
